Strengthening Community Resilience through Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Climate Change Adaptation (CCA), and Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Project in Jumla
In school WASH programme 1,596 total population including children, adolescents and youth (856 females and 740 males) were oriented, trained and increased their knowledge in different topics such as in personal hygiene maintenance, menstrual hygiene, good fooding practise and even sexuality and gender equality through trainings led by Plan partners.
Integrated Project on Food Security, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Climate Change Adaptation in Jumla and Mugu Districts of West Nepal
The project will implement activities related to economic development, disaster mitigation and preparedness and cooperative development. The project willexplore innovative cultivation, seed production and conservation and environmentally friendly production technologies. NTFPs, agro-forestry and orchard management, and micro-enterprise development activities will be implemented.
