WFP Nepal has been implementing the four years project “Adapting to Climate Induced Threats to Foodproduction and Food security in the Karnali Region of Nepal (CAFS Karnali)” with the financial supportof Adaptation fund and partnership with the Government of Nepal Ministry of Forests and Environmentand PACE Nepal as a cooperating partner in 3 Rural Municipalities in Jumla district of Karnali province,with the aim of strengthened local capacity to identify climate risks and design adaptive strategies,diversified livelihood and strengthened food security for climate vulnerable poor households in targetareas and increase resilience of natural systems that support livelihoods to climate change inducedstresses.
